Rebecca Lavoie is a freelance writer and columnist whose work has appeared in publications including Newsweek, Playboy.com, New Hampshire Magazine, and various newspapers and regional magazines. Currently, Rebecca is completing a true-crime feature for Playboy Magazine's print edition, as well as several other magazine and newspaper articles.

Known for her warm and witty voice, Rebecca is a regular featured columnist for the Concord Monitor. In addition to her observational humor pieces, Rebecca also regularly writes assignment pieces, reviews, and interviews for several publications, including the New Hampshire Mirror. Her body of work spans themes including politics, pop culture, style, true crime, and home and family.

With a background in media and public relations, Rebecca also has experience in web copy writing and assisting organizations with their messaging through communications and media strategy. A passionate advocate for arts organization, entrepreneurs and non-profits, Lavoie enjoys working for clients on a project or contract basis, depending on their needs.
